What will we be learning this year?
We will follow the Tennessee state standards. Topics will include matter and its interactions, the periodic table, organisms and their structures and processes, heredity and genetics, earth and human activity, and applications of science in the medical field.

Learning Formats
Students will be actively listening, reading, taking notes from the teacher or a text book, writing in a science notebook while staying organized, utilizing graphic organizers, answering questions, participating in activities to enhance learning a particular concept, working with a partner or small group, viewing video clips, and presenting specific topics to the class.
